During the sales process for our SaaS product, one of the most common objections we faced was, “How hard is this system to learn?” Prospects were often concerned about the time and effort required to get up and running.
Task:
We needed to demonstrate that our system was not only powerful but also user-friendly—so intuitive that it wouldn’t require extensive onboarding or classroom-style training.
Action:
To address this, we created a library of 30 tutorial videos—each under one minute long—covering all core features of the system. These bite-sized videos allowed users to learn at their own pace and revisit topics as needed.
In a sales meeting, one prospect mentioned that a competitor required customers to attend a 40-hour, in-person training course. Our sales team immediately showcased our video library, highlighting how users could start learning in minutes from anywhere—no travel or scheduling required.
Our Support team also integrated the videos into their workflows, linking to specific tutorials to answer questions quickly and cut down on troubleshooting time.
Result:
The video tutorials became a key sales differentiator, boosting our close rates by eliminating a major onboarding concern. Support call volume and duration decreased significantly, and customers praised the flexibility of learning on their own schedule. One customer told us during a case study interview that he appreciated being able to access help outside of business hours—he never had to wait for Support to open.
Ultimately, these videos helped prove that our system is not only powerful but also remarkably easy to use.
